so much to do! 7-12-08
I'm so annoyed with myself. I try to write blogs at least once ever 30 days... I'm a good deal over due. Its been crazy busy at the house and I just haven made time to right anything. Not much is really new, so I'll probably make this one short. Dad and I put sheet rock back up on the dance room far wall. We had to take down everything we did last month because the new sound system needed 4 wires and not just two. So ya we had to re-wire the speaker wires so that they are hidden, and they have some special outlet plug things. I can't wait till that room is done....... *were almost there* We had our first Clogging practice in a year on Tuesday, it went well. It was awesome to have the whole team dancing. * We did pretty good, considering we haven't danced in so long*
I now work on call, part time at L.A. Style and Spa, as a trigger Point Therapist. I was hired to do Massage too so I do massage on patients that don't need *or want* TPT. Its so nice not to be hounded there.. they didn't even interview me.. just kinda hired me on the spot. Mom works on call too, so that gives her something to do.
On the 4th of July weekend the entire family headed to the cabin. Dad, Mom and I went to the cabin on the Wednesday the 2nd. They rented a trailer from DJ's in ER, for the Dozer. Dad and I spent a whole day getting the dozer ready for working at the cabin. We had to re-bolt the track and also replace over 20 bolts that were to small for the track. It took us three hours to Load everything going to the cabin. We brought a queen bed for Scott and Kristy, and tons of other odd and ends. When we loaded the 4 wheeler, I had to charge the battery before we left. we had to load the 4 wheeler from the trailer then into the truck... *grins* guess who go to do that... yep me! it was interesting... we used the tilt of the trailer to load that part then we took our ramps and placed them on top of the trailer front end, then put the other end of the ramp on the truck tail gait. and drove up onto it and into the truck.. * It was an interesting experience* ( at the time I didn't even think twice about it) afterwards when I was looking at the ramp I was like umm whoa I can't believe I did that. Well after getting everything loaded onto the terrible junky trailer we rented... * dad had to weld the stupid finder on the trailer before we could even use it* ( and we pay over 80.00 a day for a junk trailer why?) ( ok so I'm annoyed that renting a trailer caused more work for dad instead of just bringing it home and loading it.....) We got to the cabin at 2am. *its still light out sou would think that it was like 8 pm * We were gogin to only un-load the essentials but that did quite work. We pulled in and couldn't get the truck and trailer into the long drive way. the landing gear on the horrible trailer was draging ground. Dad parked the truck where it stopped. It looked like it could rain to we knew that all the non water proof stuff had to be unloaded and taken to the cabin... We took the bed, 4 wheeler trailer, treatment table, pink cage, coolers, bedding, then back the dozer off. after that we unloaded the 4 wheeler.. that wasn't so easy because it wouldn't start.... aggggg.. the dumb battery is totally dead and useless. dad pull started the 4 wheeler and un loaded it like we had loaded it earlier. we then hooked up the 4 wheeler trailer to the 4 wheeler. Mom says she wished she had a camera for when she saw me. I was driving down the road with everything that could possibly fit onto the trailer and 4 wheeler. a cooler was on the front rack, pink cage, bedding, dog bag, and my duffel bag along with my pillow and blanket. were on the back rack. the trailer had the two huge coolers, 2 chairs, a Q box spring, a Q bed, treatment table, and boots. I'm trying to drive and mom is cracking up, I'm driving SLOW so everything stays on. I forgot to mention, Echoa was sitting on the seat in front of me making it look like she was driving. I get to the last bend, cabin in site and the bed falls off the trailer taking everything off the back rack with it.... arggggg... I jump off quick and try to put everything back cause I could hear dad coming with the dozer. I didn't get it all up in time, mom had to help and dad had to stop and wait, while laughing really hard at the mess before him. We finally get to the cabin, the bed falls off right at the door.. lol that works.. I was looking at mom and asked her why my cat and puppies were still outside.. and why she hadn't turned the lamps on inside and then she says she can't find the key!! I look and sure enough no key... dad has a look and can't find it either!! I'm thinking NOOOOO I don't want to go home!! dad then says that he might have a spare key on his keys in the truck ( which we almost took out the other day cause he didn't know what they went to) I didn't even know that a spare key existed! we unloaded everything on the the porch and then went back to the truck, we got the rest of the stuff * that we were going to leave till morning* I grabbed the keys and we headed back to the cabin... dad used the key and guess what!! the very first one he tried was the right one!!! yaaa was get to go in now.. we finally head to bed around 4 am. ahh sleep. the next day dad got right to work, he cleared the yard and took some huge trees down. Later that day dad taught me how to use the dozer, that was interesting.. I loved it but I'm terrible! I can grade road or area worth anything... the three hundred pound rocks every where didn't help. I had my fun and gave the dozing back to dad, lol. The next day Scott, Kristy and Kids came up, Then later Debbie and Brian came up * they are officially courting, for those of u that don't know* Laura came up before Deb got there, so I got to hang out with her a little before we all headed to bed. We did squeeze 4 wheeling fun into our busy schedule, of bucking and stacking fire wood. late on the 4th. Laura and I drove 12 miles on the 4 wheeler to the Talkeetna jct. to pick Amanda up and get gas. * mind you we are having to pull start the 4 wheeler the whole time* we get there fill up with gas, spend a few min starting the dumb machine... We end up waiting an hour for Amanda, one cause there was a horrible accident * all three guys died* and two it took a shorter amount of time to actually get there than first thought. we get Ada and head back to the cabin, we are not allowed to travel on the road or paved sidewalk. so we have to ride on the side of the road, where ever it might lead! we are about 7miles into our trip when the un thinkable happens... argggg.. poor Laura! we were on a steep incline and Laura was riding in the trailer, Ada was sitting behind me . Ada and I were leaning hard to the right and then hear a screech or a grunt *not sure* we look back and see Laura rolling down the hill, and the trailer on the ground with everything out of it and it was everywhere!! I wasn't going but maybe 5 or 6 miles an hour *cause of the trail and the steep hill that we were riding kinda sideways on* well I break and back up down the hill and onto the pavement of the side walk. We ask if Laura is ok and then start dying of laughter!... it wasn't really funny about Laura falling out it was funny cause everything was Everywhere!! neither of us could stop laughing. I look up and then see a cop driving by... gulp we hadn't picked everything up yet. he didn't stop but he did drive by slow... ( I was kinda freaked out cause I had the 4 wheeler on the pavement!) we hook the trailer back up... * I still don't know why it came off, and why I never even felt it come off* I'm almost to our turn when I see the cop again heading toward us this time... I'm actually driving on the side walk and not the trail cause I was still freaked about the trailer coming off. the cop slows town and flashes his lights a few times. I thought he was going to stop and talk to us * maybe give us a ticket* but he drove on by and glared at us, Ada and I both pointed to the trail and the road that we were going to be turning onto.. ( I think he got the meaning and drove on by REAL slow)... so ya that was all interesting. The next day we did some small yard work, dad then worked on the driveway. Debbie, Brian, and Laura rode on Brian's 4 wheeler. Kristy, Amanda and I rode on ours., it was so much funner with less people crammed onto a four wheeler. we rode the trails farther than we ever have. it was awesome fun... and there was puddles!!! whooo hoo. on our way back we all got a scare!! a jeep was on the 4 wheeler trail coming up a hill when we were going down. we both were shocked to see each other but all three of us screeched and laughing cause the jeep totally caught us off guard... we had just been on that trail and had turned around cause we wanted to go through mud puddles again. * we hadn't seen any jeep there before!!* well after that scare we get another on soon after cause we meet up with a truck on the trail!! arggg what is with all these cars on the trails!!! all in all we had a fun trip with nothing real eventful sept for Laura's tumble and Debbie's dirt in the eye.. we were going to stay till Sunday but dad finished the driveway and mom wanted to go. so we had to deal with packing up and coming home early,.. boo hoo ... dad wasn't in the best of moods when he found out we were leaving early... so umm ya packing up wasn't very pleasant the first 3 hours... afterwards when everybody had left and dad and I packed the trailer again it was ok. We were just getting into WILLOW when dad looks over to mom and says there was a trailer for sale back there... she asked him if it was what he wanted.. he said ya it was.. she's like well then turn around!.. I 'm like ya dad if it looks like something u might be interested in turn around! So we find a place later on down the road to turn the truck with our long trailer around and head back to this trailer that he was interested in. Long story short~!!!! The trailer is a beauty!, brand new, and what dad wanted... they wanted to buy it right there but the guy wouldn't take check.. only cash... sooo they all agreed on coming back on Sunday. I told mom she should call the back in Wasilla and see what time the closed... well long story short.. the back ended up being open and mom got the cash, and dad dropped the trailer with the dozer on it in the Fred Myer lot and took off for Willow again. 3o miles away one way! I stayed with the trailer at Fredy's cause there was no lock on the junk bucket!... I sat in the cab of the dozer with my pink bichon, three puppies, and my cat.. Lets just say I was board to pieces * no book cause I left it at the cabin by accident*. I was sitting there for a few min when I noticed people taking pics of me with there phones!!! I'm like wha!!! I had several people fake that they were going to take the trailer, and I had a bunch of people talk to me... * no body could get over that some girl with her pink dog and a cat was sitting in a dozer on a trailer with no truck attached to it in the middle of Fred Myers... * I was kinda like ya i know, I was also curled up in my blanket and two pillows* hehrhehe nice and comfy.
Dad hasn't had time to put the gooseneck hitch in the truck yet, mostly cause he knows it would be an all day thing. He left Monday morning for a job in Keni, so he was like wow i own a trailer that will hall my backhoe, and Dozer, but I can't even hall it home cause I haven't installed the gooseneck hitch. Sunday morning dad and I get up and work all day putting the gooseneck hitch in the truck!... we got it in and then drove the 60 miles to the trailer and got it home!! it is soooo nice!!!!!! I love it!! after we got home we finished the sheet ricking that I mentioned in the beginning of this * goign to be short blog* lol ya I guess my fingers were in the mood to type!
Mom took her cert exam for TPT today, she doesn't feel to great about how she did.. She has been studying for 5 months so I think she will pass!... anyway we went to the bear paw today. We watched CMRC dance, and actually talked to Dave, Billy, Judy< and * 6 almost 7 year old Bonnie* Lesile was there too! it was great seeing everybody. Dave didn't give us the cold shoulder this time! he hasn't talked to us in years since we left his group! It was awesome hanging out with everybody.. Working at the sap has been ok, its not great money but it is money i wouldn't have if I wasn't working sooooo... here I am..
ok then I need to head to bed,, I'm on call today.. its almost 2AM.. bubye for now Love to All Dream Sweet ~ Jewls~
