I'm going to be an aunti again! 4-21-08

Before anybody thinks its key thats expecting... ITS NOT !! :P Amanda just called with the good news!! She just found out today that She and Luke are expecting their first child sometime early Jan 09! whoo hoo I'm so excited!! I just wanted to tell my friends the good news..
I actually haven't had time to write a blog lately.. mom is back from her trip to FL. she had fun with her sisters. She said the weather was nice and that the trip was almost to short.
I had Echoa bred to a AKC Bichon named Max on the 11th of April but I'm pretty sure she didn't take. boo hoo no pups for me, this time around.
We have had freaky weather!! It can't decide if it wants to be winter or spring. Last couple weeks we have gotten a combined amount of over 9 inches of snow. It has gotten really warm then it drops to 10 ... *sigh* I'm really tired of scraping my car off, I'm ready for summer!!
Dad had been busy building my bosses tub walls, and working on the dance floor. Mom and Dad painted and put trim and molding in the green room, that room looks livable again.
I've actually had some therapy appointments this month, I am happy about that cause I didn't make much money from grooming this month. its been real bad at the shop cause the weather is so weird, nobody wants to bring their dogs in for hair cuts. I sure wish I could do more therapy and less grooming. * someday soon I hope*
Deb has been busy with trying to buy a house so, she might be moving to her new place next door to Kristy May 10th. gonna be weird having me dad and mom. before there was nay nay and Ryan but now... just the three of us.
Deb got me hooked up with a ranch so I'm back with working with horses!! I'm so happy!! I'm planing on going there about 5 days a week. I have to re-train the mare "Dusty" a Tennessee Walker, she hasn't been ridden in years and she was only saddle broke in the first training when she was a filly. So I've got my work cut out for me before I can think about riding her. I can't wait till then, I'm pretty excited to really start training.
Kristy finally took the plunge and dyed her hair... Deb, Key and I all have the same color hair. so thats fun... hmm I'm not sure what else to write about. I had alot on my mind today but nothing is coming to mind. Oh I finally did change cell phone service, I'm now with ACS and I got the smartphone Moto Q. so far I like it but i hate the calender function... I use it all the time and on this phone it is hard to get to and it doesn't function like the other one.... * oh well* ok well I have to go now. Love to All Dream Sweet ~Julie~

hmm 4-1-08

*yawns* I'm totally beat! work has been busy and hard. I felt like I was ran over several times by a steam roller. I groomed a 200 lb plus st. bernard Saturday and I think it was the hardest groom I've had to do in the 6 years of my grooming. I wanted to just cry! my boss helped me as much as she could but it was alot of work. The dog was untrained, mean to other dogs, hated kids, and bit my arm twice once through the muzzle! gurr that dog is never coming back. Its rather hard to groom something that weighs more than you, and has no regard on how nice you try and be to it. That dog was horrible!! We told the owners that the dog would have to be tranquillized in order to come back, she then tells us that the dog was on the highest dose when he came in!!! I was shocked because the dog showed NO sighs of being drugged!!.. we told the owner that we would not be able to groom the dog again. * I guess other groomers have told them the same thing.* Usually I like St. Bernard's but man this one was my first bad experience....*sigh* I'm still sore!!
Today a dog busted a tub lead! lol the dog just jumped off the bath tube and took the head lead with him... Sat a dog tore out the whole pluming unit and wall mount from one of our tubs.. my poor boss had to come in and do a temp fix. we have been crazy busy! I am hoping to make some money this week... My poor back is defentaly feeling the work load I try and do at least 6 or 7 grooms a day. ... Today i got 6 done by 3pm. went and voted then I came home, made dinner, then felt like making cookies from scratch. hehe Deb was good enough to go buy flour that wasn't expired in 06 and so I would have enough to make cookies...yummmm dad should be happy when he gets home tomorrow.
Echoa is in season and I can't find an AKC male to breed her with... *sigh* I can't even get a hold of the people I bred her wit last time. April is dog very good! she has been really healthy acting since i changed her diet to raw meat! she loves fish!
Tomorrow I have to goto a chamber of commerce meeting, it should be interesting because mom, and deb will be going also...
I got my tax refund! we!! I paid off my laptop and my credit cards! whoo hooo! Thats a big chunk of money that I am glad not to owe any more. I even made enough money to pay rent today. Granted I had to get a loan to pay my car insurance. but what else was i supposed to do. The loan is through my bank so I didn't have to get another credit card...
I'm so annoyed with my web site! Through internet explorer the updated site works but on firefox it shows the old site.. gurrrr
Snow is really turning to slush around the house. our driveway is pretty muddy...
hmm well I guess thats all that was on my mind. I'm tired and can't wait to be able to just groom twice a week and work therapy the rest.
