*shrugs* do I really need a title? 1-25-08
Where does one start when so much has been going on. For starters we got to OR on the 4th at 8pm, the roads were terrible and so was the weather, the rain and the wind tried to take us off the road several times. When we got to Reedsport there was about an inch of snow on the ground. *which is crazy for a coastal town.* it didn't last so that was nice. Grandma wasn't home so we just used the spare key and made ourself's a home. She got so worried about us that she came home early and was totally relived that we had made it safe and were there first. It was so good seeing her! I hadn't seen her since March of last year. The next day we went shopping and just goofed around. On the 8th we picked Laura up from the airport then looked for a pc monitor so we could use the internet we had connected, we had to go to 4 places before I found a cheap nice one at a thrift store for 25 dollars. It is large and we were in Grandmas car and poor Laura had to hold it on her lap the whole trip home 45min drive. anyway we did get home safe and we hooked the internet up the next night. It took some time getting the wireless to work but here I am on my own pc! weeee. I think I would have gone crazy without internet!!... Grandma had some chores that need attending to here at the house. Debbie and I helped her rake and kinda weed her back yard. It looks nice now! we then took mom to the airport on the 13th, she flew to OK to be with dad while he is in school. after that we headed to wal-mart we picked put paint for grandmas kitchen and office. We painted the kitchen last week the first coat was way to yellow and it was gody..... like whoa bad.... then next morning Grandma went out and bought a whole gallon of white paint. i took the white paint and mixed the rest of the yellow into a nice light yellow and it looked way better. so I re-painted the kitchen while Deb did the cabinet doors. Laura helped do some trim and stuff. We went to the beach several time now the one time we dressed for actually playing in the waves! it was so fun! people thought we were crazy! the undertow was strong and would take us out pretty far before we could swim back in. we played there for several hours, till we couldn't feel our hands or legs.... April is doing wonderful health wise. She did get a big cut down her leg we glued it but it didn't last so Deb and Laura had to stitch her up for me while I was gone . she is on meds and is wearing a cone part of the time.
Friday morning I drove to Lindsey's it had been three years since I I seen her so it was great seeing her again. I stayed there for 3 days went went shopping all over, Sunday I went to their church it was really nice. Joe *Lindsey's dad* showed me how he made the marbles that he sells. It was so awesome!!! It was great seeing Jan and Kristy... I really miss them, i wish I lived closer... After leaving Lindsey's on Monday morning I headed to Sandra's. I got to Goldendale WA, then we loaded her car and then headed to Arlington OR, where her boat is mored. On our way there we went ton stone hinge and some other place that look like a palace.
We stayed out on her boat for two days, the town is tiny so we went to the bar to eat dinner the first night. It was so dead there that Sandra's friend Connie the bar tender was telling us about her life and her daughter. Sandra mentioned that I did therapy and then had connie sit down. I worked on her right there on the bar stool's she got up several time to serve meals and drinks but that was few and far between. I was there for 3 hours playing darts and working on random people explain'n the proper way to stretch and what trigger point therapy was really all about. I felt like I was on a podium stand and giving a speech to people who were totally hanging on to my every word. It was an interesting feeling. The day before we left the boat Sandra and I decided to go Rowing in her small boat *dingy*.... I learned how to row a boat on the Columbia river of ALL places!!!! it was so crazy.. I had a real hard time getting any kind of rhythm and I had to figure out how to keep the boat straight when the current was going against me... it was great fun. we were freezing to death out there, it was 5 degrees and the oars were covered in ice. the oar locks actually got frozen into place by the time we made it back. we were so cold that it took us well over 6 hours to warm up again. We had barely made it back before dark, that was kinda nerve racking. I got to feed ducks, geese, mud hens and sea gulls all three days! I got to meat Sandra's Dad and step mom, they were nice I sure liked her place it was so huge! After I left her I stopped by at Lindsey's to say bye and then headed back to Grandmas. I was tired and had traveled alot so I came home a day earlier than intended. I got home and everybody here was like whoa home early!!! Grandma is sick with the flu and everybody else is doing good for now. Today I worked on painting the office I have two walls done, I have to wait till the paint drys before doing the other walls cause they are different colors. The room is going to look great, I had to spakel the room also cause it was full of holes. I think thats all the news for now. Uncle Ron and family are coming the 3rd of Feb so were will be picking them up from the airport. Mom and Dad get i the 6th of Feb so it will be great to see everybody here! Well until I feel like updating again cheerio! Love to All TCaGB Dream Sweet ~jewls~~
