our camping trip in detail 8-11,12,13-06
Ahh well I'll make this quick.. I'm kinda in a hurry cause I have to get to work!... August 15th already! man time flys.. I went camping in Seward on the 11th with Laura! it was a BLAST.. hahah i can't wait to do it again!!! * hmm maybe a early cabin trip*... since we can't exactly camp anywhere else in the winter.. ok well anyway!
I'll tel ya a little about the trip.. I have a voice blog but only people who ask for my adress, will know the address and can listen to it. It's a bit more personal and detailed, cause its all voice and some writen blogs..
Laura and I headed to Seward around 4pm on Fri.. we left the house at around 2pm but we had to go buy food at Wal-Mart and then we had to stop in Anchorage and buy gas * she paid* .. we got to Seward with no problems think we got there around 7pm.. we drove around and found a camp near the ocean. it was an ok spot but it was slanted real bad!.. *laughs* the van looked like a bomb went off, we had food bags, camping stuff, and dog stuff everywhere!! there was no order to our madness!! hahaha~ we set up our sleeping spots, and also let the dogs all run around.. they were so CUTE!! since it was so late and it was raining out we decided to stay at camp and play mexcian train. we had to make it our own version, the og kept walking or laying on our game and it was hard ot play on sleeping bags and blankets theat were un even..
after we played we went to bed at like 1am then at 3:30 my pups woke me up wanting fed.. so I fed them and went back to sleep till Echoa got me up and wanted out she had HORRIBLE gas for over a week adn well tonight was no expection.. ahhhh!! nothing like an enclosed van and a farty dog!!!!.. s at 5am I took Echoa out this time I woke Laura up and she went with me .. we walked the dumb dog for like 20min or longer!!. the dog had runny poop and was so smelly!!! ahh!... mean while ist still raining a little and it was darker than an inside of a coat pocket!!.. we went back to bed and I got up for good at 7 am and read till Laura got up . I'm not sure when what time we finally got outa the van and got dressed.. we finaly ate and then headed to town *walked* .. we went to a bunch of shops and I bought my share of the stores.. haha Laura was more reserved on her spending.. I wasn't! gulp, Bad Ann!~
After we shoped for many hours we walked back to the van cause our camp site had to be cleared out by 4pm.. so we ate a quick lunch, and packed the van enough to drive it and move spots.. Since Echoa was so sick we decided ot drive to Safeway and by some stuff for Ech. * i think it helped a little* while we were there we bought matching shirts! they were polar bears, there pretty nice. after we wnet there we decided to go to the Sea Life center! it was awesome!! we hung out there till closing! haha we even went to an Ocoutopus lecture.. I actualy learned a lot! I took a bunch of pics!..
after leaving there we drove around Seward looking for a dry camp site for the night.. well we coudn't find anything! then we drove by ouold spot and it was open!.. so we zoomed over there and camped at the same place and the night before. gurr I hate the whole down hill slant.. I felt like I was sliding down in my sleeping bag all night.. gurr instead of playing games this night we decided to do some reading. it was real dark anyway! I slept well the dogs only got me up once, I took Echoa out arouns 4am and them I woke up at around 7:30am and read till Laura got up. after that we ate and packed then headed back to town bought more stuff and then ate a nice lunch at some dinner place.. it was goods we had to scarf it all down in the end cause we relized our time for parking was up! ahhh!.. so we ate adn headed out to Home.
we stoped in Girdwood and bought ice-cream cones. yummy! the ladies were so nice and friendly! after we got back to Anchorage we had to stop and pick up my grooming blades that I droped off the get sharpened. whoo hoo!.. so after that we went to Best buy adn Laura bought a i-pod. cool huh? then we wen to Wal-Mart and sent in our pics of us and the trip.. we bought alot of stuff that was alike.. hehe we have pretty much the same taste in stuff.. music, animals, clothing, jewlery, etc.. hah everything but food cause I'm the worlds pickest person. hahaha
so we laft there then went home and mom took pictures of us in out matching hats, shirts, rings, necklese's and us hahaha my twin! hehe... after we un pack the van I had to hurry and wash myhair cause
I was meeting Lindsay in like minutes!.. so I got ready quickly and headedout.. We met at Wal-Mart caue I was there trying to pick up pics adn exchange my brand new broken camera... the dumb camera had little lines on it when I bought it but I figured it was still ok.. well it was till the problem just got wrse then finally the screen didn't work at all!... now I don't have a camera again!.. the dumb store told me I droped it adn it is now broken which is totally 100% un true! it was NEVER droped or treated bad!!.. but I couldn't fight it.. so now I own a useless camrea!.. Lindz met me there and then we headed to StarBucks.. I got a hot chocolate and she got some cold drink.. we talked till after 10 at night, when they kinda told us to leave cause they were closing!! hehehe it was so great hangin out with her! I love cathinc up on things I'm going to miss her so much!!.. she left this morning for college in L.A. she wont be back till Christmas.. ahh :( Thank God Laura isn't going anywhere!!.. I need my friends here!! so hmm ya I got hom late Sunday then did paper work and also did my time card! I dind't get to bed tilll 2am and then got up by 7 left by 7:45. gurr no sleep!! soo I went to work and groomed 6 sdogs! I cut one yesterday iw as freaked ! didn't show it of course! Bev was mad but we called the owner adn she sayed that if we could just talke cause of the cut ourselfs insetad of taking it to the vet... so we took care of it and all it better.. the owner wasn't mad in the lest bit.. her dog was matted to the sking and it had cottney hair which is horrible to shave on that type of dog *Bichon* so the clippers caught right in the chest.. it dind't bleed and the dog dind't even yelp I was like whoa i thinik I just cut the dog cause I noticed skin in my blade * not a lot juts a tiny peice* so I was already stressed!.. I was latefor clogging practice I finally got home in time to catch the very end of practice! Ada din't come at all cause Luke bought a new used truck Ford F-150 1999.. well he was droping her off at home and the truck would not sart!!! he had just bought it like 3 hours before.. I'm not ure what happedn witht that whole thing.. so ya now I'm totally in a hurry and this dind't end up being so short haha.. ok well Love to All Dream Sweet ~Ann~
